I had just bought and picked up my first bbq pit and was going to pick up my young son at school with the bbq pit in tow. One of the teachers asked me what in the world was that I was towing. I explained it was my bbq pit and that I was starting a business doing on-site bbq. She said, "Well, I'll be your first customer." From that moment on, life was never the same and my business continued to grow and prosper until I was able to open the Carolina Smoke BBQ restaurant in April of 2009. The restaurant has been going "great guns" since I've opened it and my life has once again changed - for the better.
